报告人简介:

Morgane Dagot studied Food Science and Biology in France, with an emphasis on Nutrition and Neuroscience at the University of Bordeaux. She conducted research on fermentation within the University of Ballarat in Australia, and sensory perception in humans subjects at the Monell Chemical Senses Center of Philadelphia, USA. In 2014, she joined the food industry and worked as a Research & Development scientist for pladis in the United Kingdom, the first biscuit and snack manufacturer in England and owner of brands such as McVities, Godiva and Ulker. Her main role was the creation and improvement of pladis products using novel ingredients and technologies. She is now working at Elsevier, as a Publisher for the Food Science portfolio, responsible for Journals such as Food Hydrocolloids, Food Control and Food Microbiology. With this workshop, she would like to introduce methods to write a good paper and get published in Elsevier’s Journals, explain the peer review process currently taking place in Elsevier, and discuss ethics in publishing and Open Access. This workshop is mainly targeting Early Career Researchers and students, but everyone interested in being an author published in Elsevier’s Journals is welcome.
